WBS was founded in 1975 by a gentleman named Will Bennett. Will was a waste removal contractor who was ahead of his time as he heeded the call of “Ecology Now” in the 70s and began recycling paper products and other materials out of his customers' waste in a small yard located on Bellevue Street in Detroit.

Today, WBS remains in Detroit, and is currently under the ownership of a longtime employee of Will's.

Unfortunately, Will has left us, but his legacy of service lives on through WBS, which continues to service commercial, industrial, retail, construction and other roll-off customers' waste removal needs throughout the Metropolitan Detroit area today.
